How it works

The app makes the decisions. The robot turns them into light.

From event to light

  1. The assistant emits a working, permission, question or completion event.
  2. The local integration forwards the event to VibeCodingLight.
  3. The app combines sessions and determines the highest-priority status.
  4. The light command reaches the robot over the active USB or Bluetooth connection.

The logic lives in software

The app determines colors, session priorities and brightness. Blue breathing and the green transition effect are generated inside the robot, without waiting for each frame from the computer.

Setup does not require hardware programming or firmware flashing. Assistant behavior is managed through app updates.

If the connection drops

The app tries to reconnect if the USB or Bluetooth connection drops. Settings → Device shows the active connection type and status. Putting the computer to sleep or quitting the app may turn off the light.

If the light does not change, check the device connection and run the color test in the app.
